Duane ErbFounder / Design and SalesDuane has worked in construction trades for 45 years, and been owner of DEC for 23. He’s creative, artistic and has an eye for detail—and it shows! He also has a well-developed talent for shepherding each job through to completion and doesn’t rest until a job is well-done.
Aside from work, Duane and Jean enjoy their four children and four grandchildren. He also invests in church-related activities and business associations, fishes, gardens, watches birds and is intrigued by wood carving.
Steve AdamsPresident/ Estimator/ Project ManagerSteve’s career with DEC goes back 15 years, and for the past four, he’s also been a co-owner. Analytical but easy-going, he takes pleasure from working with people, ensuring clients are heard and satisfied, and coming up with practical solutions when construction issues arise.
Steve and his wonderful wife, Donna, have 14-year old twin daughters, and have opened their home and lives to fostering. As part of a pastoral team, Steve has many opportunities to walk alongside individuals and families in their life experiences. He finds recreation at home with his family, gardening, completing improvements around the house. Yet finding time to reach out to the needs that come along their way.
DarrenVice President/ Estimator/ Project ManagerDarren’s been bringing his eye for detail, creative skills and perfectionism to his job for more than 11 years. He especially loves finding new and innovative products and solutions to use and introduce to clients.
Darren married Katie in July 2013. He loves outside activities like fishing, snowboarding, skateboarding, and baseball, as well as completing renovation projects around the house.
JameyCarpenter/ Site Supervisor Jamey has been with DEC for 8 years, but has 26 years of carpentry experience. He’s never afraid to learn and try new things. He works to a high quality standard and treats each job and place as if it were his own.
In addition to investing in his own family and children, he’s involved with the local fair and various church related events. You'll also find him on his snowmobile or motorcycle, camping or hiking, or just enjoying the great outdoors.
TwilaPainter/Finisher Twila currently resides in Elmira but has spent several years of her life in voluntary service around the world. Having just returned from a two year internship across Africa, she is now pursuing her passion for fitness and working with survivors of human trafficking in the local community. Twila loves anything active and spontaneous, coffee shops, writing, Starbucks, bacon and laughter. She enjoys intentional relationships and seeing people reach their full potential.
TrevorCarpenter/ Site Supervisor Trevor began working for DEC in 2017. He started his carpentry apprenticeship in 2000 and completed it in 2004. Trevor is originally form Ireland, but spent some time working in SK before moving to ON.
He and his wife have been married for 7 years and have 3 daughters, so there is never a dull moment :).
Trevor is very easy going, has traveled to many countries in Southeast Asia, enjoys football (soccer), camping, and going on walks.
