In the spring of 2009 we contacted you regarding an ambitious addition we were contemplating. You had come highly recommended by several people in our neighbourhood for whom you've done work in the past. After speaking with several contractors and weighing our options we chose you for our project and that was the best decision we made.

One of our concerns heading into our addition was having to “manage” our contractor. Very early on in our project I felt I was able to hand the job over to you and your team with 100% confidence that all work was going to be completed properly and to a very high standard. Life during a major renovation is stressful but knowing I had you and your staff on the job eased many of our concerns.

Budgets and timelines are always a concern for any homeowner considering an addition. You delivered exactly as we expected, on time and on budget.

All of you did exceedingly good work. Any problems with the other trades were quickly handled by you, and I just sat and waited to be looked after. My house was very livable throughout the renovations, and work areas were always cleaned thoroughly. Another big part for me was that I was very comfortable with all of you as people as well. I was treated with respect and really listened to by all of you, and I appreciated that very much.

The completion of our addition has made our dream house a reality. We comment daily on how pleasant the house is now and how smoothly the addition integrates with the old house. It was purely by chance that we found your company at the Kitchener Home Show.
Before we had committed to building, we met with Duane many many times to discuss possible plans and details. While he showed interest and enthusiasm for the many aspects of the project, we never got a feeling of being rushed into it. When Duane explained his philosophy of making additions appear seamless we knew our plans for making the new match the old would be met. He made many suggestions and had no problem about taking down and reusing old brick, moving and reusing the old window, continuing the larger wood trim throughout etc.

Steve was able to source the appropriate materials and alternates when necessary for budget constraints. He was patient and encouraging during out deliberations and decision making. When something was not working arrangements for adjustments were made promptly. And while we don't anticipate any future problems, we have confidence that this good service will continue.

As the construction proceeded and a few revisions or additions needed to be made, Duane was available onsite to discuss our ideas or other options and made recommendations. When we had difficulties with restrictions on our small lot Duane went to bat for us at city hall by phoning, visiting inspectors, and preparing for and presenting on our behalf at City Council. The resulting solution of the pergola at the entrance and the privacy fence is very pleasing and we can't wait to get it greened up.
